Arcadia man allegedly threatens woman with knife

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports that an Arcadia man was arrested on multiple charges following an incident where he allegedly threatened a woman with a knife — in front of a 10-year-old child.Deputies report that they received a report of a disturbance, which revealed Charlie W. Clemmons, 22, of Arcadia had threatened a friend of his girlfriend’s with a knife in front of a 10-year-old child. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, menacing in the second degree, endangering the welfare of a child in the second degree, as well as harassment in the second degree.Clemmons was arraigned in Arcadia Town Court and released on his own recognizance. An order of protection was issued protecting the victim and child from Clemmons. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Newark Police Department on the scene.
